Can I download MOSS today?
MOSS is in private testing for iPhone users ages 18 and older. There is no public App Store listing and no public TestFlight link yet. Email us to ask about early-access availability. Pricing hasn’t been announced.
What can I do in the current beta?
Talk or type to capture, have live voice conversations, keep saved people and memory, review tasks and follow-ups, and — with permission — view and add Apple Calendar events. Looking up your calendar or saved people inside a live voice conversation is limited to a smaller rollout. Connections isn’t included.
Does it replace Apple Calendar?
No. Apple Calendar remains the source of truth. Calendar access is optional. When you connect it, MOSS syncs limited details of the next two weeks of events with your MOSS account, such as titles and times, and adds events only after you approve them.
Where does my voice go?
Hold to capture is transcribed on your iPhone with Apple’s on-device speech recognition; MOSS syncs the resulting text, not the recording. Live conversations send audio through LiveKit to Google Gemini, and transcripts may be stored in your account. Text you capture or type is processed with Anthropic. MOSS asks for AI-processing consent in the app, and you can turn it off in Settings. See the privacy policy.
Does MOSS act on its own?
MOSS doesn’t make purchases or bookings for you. Important actions — like changing your calendar or anything that reaches outward — wait for you. Everyday capture and sync can happen as you use the app, with the permissions and AI consent you’ve given.
Can my MOSS talk to someone else’s?
That’s the idea behind Connections, which is still in development. It’s planned around invitations, permissions, and requests the other person accepts or declines — not available in the current private beta.
What happens to my data?
We don’t sell your data or use it for advertising. You can delete your MOSS account from Settings; that doesn’t delete events in Apple Calendar. The privacy policy and terms have the details.
